It has only been 6 weeks...and he says he LOVES me!

Question

My boyfriend and I have only been together for 6 1/2 weeks and last weekend he told me that he was In LOVE with me! I care about him very much. We see each other just about every day. But I feel like it is still too early to determine between Love and Lust.

Is it possible that he really is in love with me after such a short time? I haven't said it back. He knows that I care about him and said that he knows I will say it when I am ready.

If you have been in this kind of situation I would love some advise! By the way, I am 23 and he is 30. He has only ever told 1 other person that he loved her.

Some guys, when they fall, fall pretty hard so it is possible that he is genuinely in love with you, my ex told me he loved me after knowing me for just 3 weeks and after 18 months was still totally in love.

you just need to tell him that although you really adore him you aren't at the same place on the love scale as him right now as you feel its too early on in the relationship to be that involved. Show him how much he means to you, he'll understand - being 30 he should realize that feelings don't run in sync.

I have been in this kind of situation and yes I'm pretty sure a guy can fall in love in 2 1/2 months. Dis guy would do anything for me and I was proud to have a guy like that.

~BUT~

If your not ready to take it a step forward just tell him he's moving to fast and he needs to slower the pace so you two can be on the same page. No one shouldn't be forced in to love, if he loves you so much he'll understand and wait for you to catch up with him

Shoot, I knew I was falling for my Callie the day I met her. If you special enough then I reckon it'd be easy. Personally, I ain't never been confused as to when I felt lust and when I felt love. Telling the two apart is easy.

I think that he is infatuated with you. It can't be love quite yet. Do you think he could possibly love you in a month and a half? Infatuation can feel like LOVE but it isn't.
