Guys, how long does it take for you to miss your ex after you break up with her?

Say you broke up with her because of too much stress in your life...work related stuff and some major family issues. The break up had nothing to do with her, and in fact you are in love with her and hate that you can't be with her all the time. You think she is your perfect dream girl too and feel like the luckiest guy to have her. So do you even miss her after you break up with her? How long does it take for you to miss her? Would you ever try to win her back? How long until you would talk to her again?

I felt that way about a girl before; but the way I feel about it now - is that if she wasn't able to steer out of the way when I'm having a mental breakdown - or that she wasn't trying to help with my stress load; then I usually just leave it be and let us both go separate ways.

Well what if she didn't have the chance to help and when she tried you said you didn't want her help? Me and this guy live 2 hours from each other and then when he broke up with me it was out of nowhere and it seemed like he freaked out and decided to do it without even thinking...and then he stopped talking to me..

2 hours is quite the distance to be apart; albeit the physical proximity wasn't enough for him or some other case; I wouldn't encourage you to waste time trying to deduce WHY he left or IF he might return. This guy sounds like he has his own demons to deal with; maybe time will resolve this, but if you try and try - you will only exhaust your own energy without seeing new results.

With me it's usually shortly after. If I still love her and the breakup was not over other things than of course I would miss her right away.

Yes I would try to win her back because I still love her.

I really wouldn't stop talking to her after the breakup if she didn't want me to.

Well if you did completely stop talking to her would that be a bad sign? Or would it be so you can have space to think? Because that's what he did and I'm trying really hard to not talk to him and give him space but I miss him so much and I feel like he will talk to me again but it just seems like right now he doesn't miss me at all..

Well it all depends on the situation but if I did stop talking to her for me it would be a bad sign because the only reason I would stop is if I was really hurt by her or I feel like she needs to show the effort and that she wants me. It also depends how long you haven't talked to him space is good but too much isnt. If you like message me and ill help you figure it out
