How do I deal with my girlfriend parents who are rude and hate me for most no reason?

so my girlfriend parents do not like me and blame me for any n all choices my girlfriend makes that they don't like. they say i won't ever make anything of myself and that am a bad influence on my girlfriend but am not. i got both my drivers license and a new job as a CNA 2 weeks ago so am doing a lot better than 8 months ago as a dishwasher. which i haven't told them about Becuase i want them to like me for me and not where i am in life. my girlfriend dad works at Verizon wireless plus part time as a limo driver on for extra cash and her mom is a bartender. my girlfriend parents are in no way rich, they are borderline upper middle class and both have no college education at all.

now a bit about my parents both are divorced, my mom use to work at are local social security office 10 years ago but now she just lives off welfare after a bad knee injuries and refuses to go in for treatment also has had cancer for the last 4 years but won't go in for treatment for that as will and spends most of her time smoking weed but says she is gonna go back to school 1 day. my dad is an ex-nurse who quit nursing after a patient died on him, but now works at a high LVL security job as a head manger and fixes houses up on the side and works with MtR. in the 8 months i have been dating my girlfriend i have convinced her to go back to school to be a vet assistant which she has 3 months left and afterwards she will be going back to school to be a vet bad ill be going back to be a nurse. her mom doesn't know am the one who talked her into going back to school since she wasn't having any luck finding a job as a baker.

I think you are doing great under the circumstances that you described. Some people will always have it out for you. Does your girlfriend at least stick up for you? i. e. does she tell them how much you've helped. I think you should keep doing what you are doing. I would try and avoid hanging around them unnecessarily.

thank you, i have always been respectful to them even when they have been rude to my face... if i were to list some of the things they have said or did you would agree its just plain rude. yes, my girlfriend always stick up for me and because of this she refuses to spend any time with her parents now. which in return is making them be overly nice to her but they still talk crap about me. her mom just told her today her dad is still very upset she still talking to me since my girlfriend decided to stay at my house for a few hours to make her mom stop treating her different than her sister who is 3 n half years under... which they blame me for this too. anyway, ill keep being myself n ill avoiding them.

They are being completely unreasonable. You shouldn't feel the need to please them, after all it's not like you're in a relationship with them. You are with their daughter, which means that if she loves you and respects you, you shouldn't give a shit about what her parents think of you.
