What does it mean when a guy says he's confused?

i really do not understand what my boyfriend wants. the last time we talked, he said he's fine with my idea of patching things up but after that, he didn't bother to talk to me again. every time I would call him, he's not in the mood to talk so I confronted him and ask him if what kind of relationship do we have and he said "i'll talk to you when I want to." which is soooo unfair. I asked him if he want to end the relationship but keep on telling me that he doesn't know what he wants. I really am confused.

can somebody help me figure out what my guy is thinking? the reason of his behavior is trust issues. he thought that I haven't gotten over my past relationship yet.

The same thing happened to me! When I was with my boyfriend he told me he was just confused and all that sh*t.. And that he doesn't know what he wants. And I asked him if he needed space or did he want to end the relationship but he said "I swear to god I won't leave you." and then I called him then he broke up with me lol its funny now that I think about but wtvr.

I think what you should do is talk to him in person! (not on the phone.) Make plans with him as soon as possible, but don't go where there's a lot of people, go to a park or a quiet beach. I think what he's thinking right out is that he's having second thoughts about the relationship. But you have to show him that this could work.. BUT! If he breaks up with you. Agree with it because begging and crying will only make it worse for you. Make it look like your the strong one and he just lost the best thing that he had, but hopefully he won't but I was in the same situation as you and the guy ended up on breaking up with me( the day we had plans to hang out and fix things that day). So be careful.

When you talk to him in person, try not to argue. Lisen to what he has to say and try and he nice and understanding as possible. And when you want to let out all your feelings don't be mean about it, just try and be calm about it.

He wants you when you don't need him to be who you want him to be. More than that, he wants you to be happy without him, he wants to choose to be with you, not be forced into being with you. Just by your post, though it is totally understandable, you do not need to talk to him at all right now. You need to reflect grow, and imagine life with out him. Then when you are happy it will show when you talk to him, and he will want to try. If you plan on faking happiness, using jealousy, or any of that..you will only push him away further.
