Why does he pay attention when I move on/ignore him?

So, there was this guy I started to like because he flirted for months I thought he liked me the. But this cat and mouse game has been going on, I really am sincere and would like to start something with him however when there is an opportunity for him to talk to me he won't take it, and he won't allow me to either. He told me out of no where he was dating this girl a few months ago whom I had no idea about, he told me he even night her some things, he tried making jealous calling other girls pretty, so I was hurt, and how I'm trying to move on officially. He would stare me and smile from across the room one day, the next he wouldn't even give me a passing glance.

Now I'm trying to move on, not acknowledging him, now he's starting to stare and notice me, again, why is he doing this?

You have no idea how irritated I am, I just want him to leave me alone, maybe I should act like I like him since he's so backwards... Lol or I should go over bored and make him confess that he doesn't like me lol

This dude is all talk and games trying to get you to come back to him. The act of flirting and calling other girls pretty has pretty much blown up in his ass because you aren't pursuing anymore.

The whole reason to the off to on switch is that once he's got a girl or thinks he's got one he retracts all efforts towards you. When he's hungry and needy for a girl, he's got to find a girl who he knows likes him or used to.

Best advice, date other guys and move on.

Depends, when he has a gal he thinks is above you he'll be uninterested. Conversely, when he has zero girls to date he'll go to you and or other girls who he knows like him. Your easy in his eyes so why even try when you're in his back pocket?

Date other guys and you'll forget about him quick. Older women do this all the time when they're about to leave. They'll look up a guy they used to like and instantly have someone after breaking it up. SIMPLES!
