ANSWER FAST:What happens if you get some Lime-a-way on your finger?

I was using it to clean and when I was about to close it a drop got on my index finger, since I was next to the sink I was able to wash my hands in a second but is it still bad for my skin? The bottle says to get immediate medical attention but is it necessary? I don't see any damage to my finger but could it be damaged?

I googled it...it said it CAN be dangerous to skin, but since you washed it off then you're probably going to live. :p

I think it'll be fine.

I guess if your skin starts doing something weird...then you may want to go see a doc.

Lime away is a 1 on the HMIS Health scale.

On a scale of 0-5, zero being the least toxic and five being the most, Lime-away is likely to cause slight irritation after acute exposure. A single drop is nothing to be concerned about. Wash thoroughly with soap.

It could probably irritate your skin just pay attention to the area for any irritation. You are probably fine if it starts to burn or anything just call your doctor.

Wife drew a hot bath and put a half bottle into it. She left the house, I saw the drawn bath and got in (not knowing she was soaking with Lime Away to clean the tub). I soaked for about 20 minutes and then showered with soap and water. Hate to say it, but that was the best bath I've had in a long time haha. But I don't advise it since someone could have a bad reaction. I'm fine though. My wife freaked out when she found out ha.
