IDK why am I usually the one to text first?
Girl always texts first?
IDK why am I usually the one to text first?
Well, the fact you're always initiating conversation is a huge sign that you're attracted to him, maybe try this experiment;
Finish off the discussion one night with "text you tomorrow" and then, don't text him for two days. If he doesn't text you first within those two days then either he's uninterested or he is just a lazy sh*t.
Considering guys are expected to make an initial approach, I see nothing wrong with you having to text him first. If he's expected to go out on a limb to show attraction for you, I feel it's only right for you to contact him and show interest rather than have him play 100% of the chase game.
That's just me.
But you don't think its weird that I'm almost always the one to text first? So maybe should I try to flirt more lol..
Not really. I mean, considering guys aren't big on cell phones and talking on the phone in general, it's not a stretch to imagine that he's not worried about his phone. If he keeps up conversations with you, then you aren't bothering him. Even if he's being short with you, it could be anything. Not being able to see someone in person and how they act around you makes it real easy to either assume something about them or not get the entire picture.
So since we haven't texted each other in a week should I text him saying something like "why don't you talk to me anymore"? Or would that freak him out lol I don't know how should I start my convo
Well I see in at school in person in the halls. He is always looking at me but then when I look at him he just acts as if he doesn't see me but when we do see each other I always smile & say hi and he does the same. The problem is I barely see him cause he goes to class kinda early (hes not a nerd lol he just does!). But I think I will eventually text him & jokingly ask him why he hasn't talked to me in a while (maybe I will do so tonight Lol).
maybe he wants you to always make the move first, is he really shy? but you shud't always text first. stop for like a week or something and see if he will text you. you cud also ask why he doesn't text first and ask him to text you at a specific time or something
Causew he know you always will so he is like, what's the point? Kind of reframe from doin that and see what happens because you don't want to seem like your showing all the effort. he needs to show that he thinks of you firsty sometimes too because it takes two

Because you like to text? Just a guess.
But, after you text. How long does it take for a response? Immediate, or delayed response?
Depends.. at night he replies fast. During the day slow. Sometimes I will text during the day and he will reply then randomly stop and continue replying late at night.
It may be due to the fact that you're the more eager one. It's not bad if is seen in the same sense as the other. And maybe his replies are slow during the day due to work?
we are both at the same school during the day, but I mean he can still text back inbetween classes you know? But yeah your right, I'm eager when it comes to my texts lol.
Well, maybe he's more cautious of getting caught with his phone out? I don't know what cellphone policies are in schools nowadays since I haven't been in high school in a few years.
True, thanks!
Because your the most impatient :) I grantee if you don't, and you wait he will :)
Its been a week since I texted him & he hasn't text me.. lol. But I saw him at school and he said hi. Lol what's up with that?
lol I want to.. I just don't want him to think I'm clingy or anything
Alright I'll try! Thanks so much!
Some guys will do it to see if a girl likes them or has willingness to keep a conversation going. Some girls suck horribly at it. You don't text them and nothing happens. I get sick of controlling the conversation sometimes.
You may text first because you are more open, but don't let it become a habit because he may just expect you to text first. Go a few days with out texting him and see if he texts you back.
