I have the same problem with a guy. We've known each other for quite a long time but we really started hanging out and texting a lot a little bit more than once month ago. We texted EVERYDAY, FOR HOURS, FOR THE PAST MONTH! Even my closest guy friends don't text me every single day like he does! We've met and kissed and spent a whole weekend together. And.. at one point, he told me that he was "sorry for having kissed me". He then asked me what I had to say and I told him that I was disappointed because I liked him a lot and I was expecting more than "just friendship", and he cut me off saying "I like you a lot too, I'm just not looking for a relationship right now". And he went on saying that the fact that we lived far away from each other (I'm in Idaho, he's in Utah) was not maing things any simpler and that long-distance relationships suck, blablabla. I thought we would not talk again, but he's still texting me! Everyday! He even made plans for next month! I never really "believed" in friendship between a guy and a girl, there's always one of the two who likes the other, or both! I just don't know how to react. I want to talk to him and make things clear, but what should I say and how should I say it? If his answer is "no", well, I don't want our friendship to shatter into pieces, because we get along super duper well!
Well, does he usually initiate conversations between you two?
Does he ever send you good morning/night texts?
Does he use lots of smiley faces or anything like that that might hint at something?
Some people are just really avid texters, but of course there's always the possibility that he likes you and wants to text you just to talk and stuff.
I mean it's hard to tell from our standpoint but you should either try to read between the lines, or just ask him.

Often it is a yes but mostly this is just a flirtation who being enjoying to play around and has no intention of go further. Learn and you will discover yourself better and understand guy's way of texting and its implication to it whether he is playing or serious liking you.
I text the girl I like everyday but I stoped becasue I told her that I liked her but she has aboyfriend she also flirted with me at work so please if you don't like him then no flirt with him.
