Okay, i need to add a few details to get a good response, Im 21 now, and have a pretty decent experience with women, but the thing is there's this girl I know from my high school. She was dating my best friend at that time. And, i knew her as that. Time went by and we spoke with each other increasingly and exceedingly, i have genuinely helped them through their problems and was just a common friend. But, then my friend really started acting like a pure jerk with her, and it lead to small problems between me and him, we are still great friends though, i just dont like how he treats her. But, this girl and I, were close friends by then. Later, after my 12th i had to move out of town for my studies, and i completely lost touch and had almost grown tired of helping their problems, me and that girl were still in touch occasionally, but she stopped discussing her problems with me, we exchange compliments with each other, and I for one dont shy for calling her beautiful if she looks so that day. But then, they had a so called "break" with each other, and we were in complete touch that time, and started calling me as "gummybear" during that period, later again, our communication dropped and we spoke sparingly with each other. But, recently, she suddenly texted me asking what she did was right or wrong, without explanation, and after i had answered with "yes" she told me that she had broke up for good. Now, the thing is, i have always seen her a friend, but now i feel differently (since 2 months), we have been in constant touch, she says she misses me and wishes to meet me, and i too miss her, and the day i had a doubt that i might like her, i broke up with my current gf as i felt its wrong to continue if im unsure of my feelings. she calls me cutie now and i call her sweetie/sweetheart, now i flirt up, but i get mixed responses from her, which is really confusing me. I would like anyone shedding a bit more light onto this, she is generally shy as a person. Sry for long stuf

She was planning to come, but it gt postponed due to family problems, and i know its too soon and all that, but she says things like i know you are always there, which are really friendzone type.And, im double thinking what i shud do, shud i ask her?

I was planning to visit her, and i told her, that i have a surprise for her, she took it well per say, but later after a day, she was like "I have been waiting for you bring up the surprise topic" I told that it would not be a surprise if Id tell her
