Because a large amount of females are quite stupid, as well as seem to have been put on a pedestal by men. If I could get a dollar for the number of times my friends have humble-bragged to me about the guy at the bar who was hitting on her (because, you know, holding the door open for someone= guy is macking on you) I would be quite rich by now. x_x
I'm like that when a guy I barely know gives me way too many compliments, asks me too many personal questions and talks about making plans with me even though I barely know them and I have no interest in them.
