Lol... The meme is closer to reality than we realize. If my dress lifted up to my chest in a gust of wind I would feel so embarrassed. This happened one day and some guy came up and said he loved the color blue (my panties) and I just walked away but I felt self conscious about it. Yet I've been topless on beaches before and that didn't bother me. Panties and a bra cover the same thing as a bikini but somehow it makes us feel different. If your guy friend sees you in your panties (not just a flash) it could send him a signal that you don't mean.

Hm I really wouldn't care but I just don't do it out of respect as he may not want to see his friend in her underwear.
I don't go out of my way to show my friends my underwear, male or female but if it happened it's not that big of a deal. It's like a bathing suit and all the important bits are still covered.
No, we often all change in front of each other (although we don't take underwear off), it's just normal for us.
