My ex-GF has been with more partners then myself,

I know before we met she had several guys so I get the impression that she was with me because I am good in bed

I have never been asked if sex was better with my ex.

If I got asked I would not answer.

I don't talk about my ex to my boyfriend.

That is in the past, it's irrelevant, he doesn't need to know and I'm sure he doesn't want to either.

That being said for some reason he has felt the need to tell me about his exs and other women before, and I have made it quite clear I don't want to know, it's not something I need to or want to think about. Then pointing out have I ever said anything to you about my ex? No. Do you want to know about it? No.

I have compared my ex to my boyfriend very briefly in my head when we first got together.

Mainly how I think he is better as a person, and better suited to me. Not the sexual side.

I don't really know why.

You girlfriend is most likely with you becuase she likes you for you, and probably enjoys you in bed too. Because she is with you doesn't mean you are better or worse in bed than her past lovers.

She most likely doesn't compare you. Each relationship is unique with bits that could not compare to anyone else.

I would never ask or answer a question like that, but I do think comparison is a normal thing to do for everything in life.

Say you go buy an apple from Walmart, and one from Publix, and one from Kroger. You're gonna taste them and compare them. Nothing against the Publix apples.. it's just gonna happen.

I can't answer for anyone but myself, but I don't do it personally. When I'm having sex with my girlfriend, I don't think about previous sexual encounters- I'm just enjoying the sex with her, for what it is and for what she is, in the moment.

Perhaps if I had sex with another person and it wasn't as good as my girlfriend (she'd be an ex-girlfriend at that point, I suppose), then I might think "Wow, this isn't nearly as good as with the ex". But then again, I've never dated someone that I didn't mesh with on all levels, sex included. My current girlfriend is great in bed, very secure, curious/willing to experiment, and so on. Previous sexual encounters have mostly been similar, so I don't compare to them since I'm just focused on her and the present.

I've never asked, nor have I been asked. But I think the comparison is inevitable, at least in the beginning. But if the relationship goes on for any amount of time I barely even think about previous girlfriends, let alone in a sexual way.

I can see it happening maybe if there was a problem with the relationship you were in. Which is also pretty inevitable. Your past experiences are the foundation on which current relationships are built, one way or another.
