Guys: Can very wide hips make a girl look fat and become a turn off rather than a turn on?

I know men like big boobs, small waist and wide hips but can hips look too wide and just end up making you look big?

I hate how my hips are in proportion to my size and I end up feeling chunky and big because of it. It doesn't help with my short stature considering I stand at 5'1. I can't seem to lose any weight around that area so I'm stuck with it. The only help is that I have a C cup otherwise I really would just look completely out of shape.

Can having hips that are pretty wide end up being a turn off? :/

You know, I am always amazed at how women view their own bodies. When you described your body I was picturing massively broad hips, but you are simply a normal woman. You do not look "out of shape".

Confidence in women doesn't have the same impact as it does on men. When a man is insecure, women seem to find it unattractive. Men tend NOT to think the same way, so... don't feel insecure ABOUT being insecure. Guys tend to find it charming.

However, insecurity can still be a BARRIER to you. That's different. If you are hiding your body, avoiding giving any indication you're interested, or holding back out of insecurity, then those can be an issue. But as long as you put yourself out there, you can look shy doing it, and guys will like it.

Well for men, it's worse then that, not only do you have to put yourself out there, you have to act confident while doing so. So you'll get no sympathy from us young lady, where you can put yourself out there like a nervous stumbling newborn fawn and have men come swooping in delightedly :p

In any case, perhaps tying this to your original question here - your hips are fucking hot, and showing off your hip/waist/thighs will generate more male attention. Perhaps more sexual then you want, but they are very attractive.

Well, thank you. I haven't actually been single in a looong time. I wasn't the way I am now, when I was. I think it would be quite different for me if I were single again, compared to when I was young.

I have wide hips as well, if you did want to lose them they are actually the hardest body part to shrink :p
