What do you think of our relationship?

This guy and I have met a couple weeks ago and we've talked to each other everyday. He replies instantly to my messages and I do to him too. Recently my friends asked me about him because they could see the 'chemistry' between us and they could tell we obviously like each other. We often link arms, hold hands and he kisses me on the forehead and cheek when we see each other. I was told that he didn't do that tell anyone else but me. I don't want to overthink it and ruin our relationship but I do think we like each other. He's really nice and we have similar interests and personalities. His best friend said that he talks about me all the time but he could've been joking. What do you think?

He is interested in you for sure. I think there are suggestions here that you ask him if he likes you. If he is shy, that may put him in an awkward, uncomfortable position. I would suggest the opposite... you tell him that you like him. You will get a nice reaction from him.

I don't want to sound too clingy because we haven't really known each other for that long :/ We met three months ago but we didn't really talk to each other until 3-5 weeks ago because we go to different schools and we only met through our friends

The problem is we often say that we like each other in a joking/serious way. How do you suggest I do this?

he must be shy, ask him in a serious manner, and let's see what it turns out to be. And if he isn't interested which i don't think so would be, just say I was joking. :P

We aren't going to see each other for a while because he has mocks coming up and he needs to study and I think the next time we'll see each other is in 2-3 weeks time

I think he really likes you but maybe he is very shy and is afraid to take the first step
