Yes, it's a good thing because it shows he values what you are saying! My husband took on little quirks and traits I do too, and uses words I say that he never did before. I know he respects and loves me and little things like this reflect our closeness as a couple and that he hijacks a little bit of me because he likes it.

Yes, it's the same thing. ex. I used the word/synonym "premise" on purpose instead of "plot" when I talked about a movie, just to test out if he'd do it. Try something like that & see if it works?
He definitely thinks a lot of you if he picks up your words and idiosyncratic phrases. Whether he actually fancies you or just sees you as an alpha girl in your group of friends and is subconsciously copying you to be more accepted is not something I can answer
He didn't steal it from you, he's using them because these words are more direct links to your (sub) consciousness.
It's a good thing in the sense that it's an indicator of him liking you or at least him wanting you to like him.
