sadly enough, it might be a bit of a red flag. he wants to meet you and text you all the time can mean that he is being overprotective. but it doesn't means that he is surely hampering your space. if you need to find out badly try cancelling one of your meetings and tell him this is becoz ur best friend really needs you and see how it comes out and surely u can read his reactions then and there.

It's a red flag for sure, he's already too clingy and it will probably get worse. You said dating but not your boyfriend and he's moving way too fast. I've been in the same situation and it was the worst 4 months ever, yes 4 months and it was just too much. You should never get tired of someone so quickly if the relationship is going to work.
He could just be a sentimental guy, but he's coming on way too strong. Maybe he's super fascinated if he's just getting to know you. Guys are weird... As long as he doesn't act controlling and you keep a little distance (it's ok not to talk every single minute of every day.) Do what feels right for you.
I think he's just in he's honey moon phase, where he feels like he may need to be with you all the time. Or he may just love being in your presence. If it bothers you a lot, have a word with him

See, women only really want to be texted if they're being asked out. Men forget that, and we wind up texting her all the time, thinking she's OK with it. While she may pretend like it is, it's killing her inside. It's def. good that he wants to talk and see you all the time buttttt even women have their own lives. If you can't handle it, don't text him
