well when you masturbate you release testosterone and that's what makes a male have his manly traits so over masturbation can definitely make you show your feminine side I guess its possible that it could lead to low self esteem and a weak personality but I think that maybe more just your actual personality. but if you notice you showing extra emotion and having feminine characteristics coming out then that is probably do to excessive masturbation and a personality can be changed if you don't like it then change the parts that you don't like about yourself and as for the confidence the only thing you can really do is just take a deep breath and think (whats the worst that can happen, they say no and I look for someone else, who cares) I think its worth the risk don't you? good luck I wish you the best and I hope that helps you

As a university student pursuing a major in sexuality and gender studies, I will tell you that there are no side effects to masturbation. When does it become an issue? Think of it as an addiction. Why do alcoholics have an issue? Because they drink so much that they can't function and live a normal life. If they drink but can live a normal life and have a balanced lifestyle, then they're called normal.

If you're masturbating so much that you miss school/work, lose all your friends, and stopped all means of communication with the outside world, yes, I think you have a problem.

If that's not the case, masturbation is a healthy part of human sexuality!

I know plenty of guys who look at porn everyday and masturbate more than once a day.There's nothing wrong with masturbating if its not affecting your personal life. I don't see how masturbating has anything to do with low self esteem unless your literally surrounding your life with masturbating because your sitting home doin it. It depends on your age. If you're in your mid to late teens, it's completely normal to feel horny. And don't worry, masturbation is a way of relieving stress. It doesn't make you thinner. And it won't affect your personality either. I hope this helped. =)

Nah, masturbation means you have a healthy sex drive. Over the long term you may come quicker, and its good to create new sperm cells. Its also a good workout for your arm. Only bad thing really is maybe not making enough sperm because you do it too much in a short time, or the level of arousal isn't as high as it was before.
