Why do girls like a guys chiseled jawline??

What makes that feature on a guy attractive?

Apparently it's a masculine feature of dominance but the only reason it is dominant is because girls find it attractive. It doesn't actually tell you anything about the person. Everyone is pretty masculine these days it's not like there is somebody who is not as masculine as that person so he's unworthy. It's down to personality and who you're comfortable with. Half these pretty boys with perfect jaw lines are some of the most cowardly back stabbing types I've ever known they're only given reaper because of how they look.

Its an indication of high testosterone which in turn signifies a strong male which, also is what women are naturally attracted to.

It helps to frame his face and define his features... So it makes him look even more manly. Plus, if you have a chiseled jawline, it usually indicates that you have a decent body, since if you're too overweight, you start getting double chins and puffy cheeks... Not so attractive (at least that's my opinion, but I don't mean for it to be offensive in any way... To each their own).

I don't know about "edgy." I don't really care about "edginess." For me, it's just a matter of them looking healthy, and I don't know... I mean, for example, if for some reason your guy had to protect you from another guy (okay, totally unlikely, but just saying -- we're basing this on naturally instinctive physical preferences...). If you were the "other" guy, would you be more threatened by a guy with a defined jawline, or some dude with a jiggly neck?

Yea that makes sense. I would have to say that my intentions would be to stay clear away from the "chiseled jawline guy" if we were engaging in a fight, rather than the fat guy haha.

Cause it reminds them of fertility but even then men are more attracted to the personality of a attractive women with smaller butt, breasts if had to choice.
