If we text everyday, non-stop, is that flirting or buddies?

There's this girl that I have been texting back and forth for a month. We are both in steady relationships and even texts about that sometimes.We see each other once a week and she never mentions texting because a lot of people are around that know mine and her acquaintances. My question is, is she flirting or just being a buddy?

I think it depends on the nature of the texting conversation. I do that too with this guy I know. He's in a relationship and I'm not. At first, I thought it was just friendly but the conversations became full day events. That's the beauty of texting. And at first they were every week or so until it became an almost everyday thing and then full days. At first, we would talk about his girlfriend and some issues he was having and I would talk about my ex that I had just broken up with. Then, we stopped talking about them and just had really great conversation. That's when I started to realize it was no longer just a friendly thing. I mean, how many people do you do that with, really? And, we never let anyone else know we did that which sounds like the two of you. If it was just an innocent thing, none of you would feel the need to not let anyone else know, right? Anyway, eventually the texting went further then I thought it would, but of course he's in a relationship so that's that.

How do you talk about your relationships? What are your conversations about?

We talk about our relationships ups and downs and how long we've been together, and so on. our conversations deal with what we're doing at the time, how her classes are, how my work is, etc. We also pick on each other being mean to each other (just something to bull crap around with). I mean, I'M FLIRTING with her, do you think she is with me?

Well, this guy and I have done this little dance for the past 3 years while I was in a relationship. I always questioned whether it was more or not, and because he was friends with my ex, I always assumed it was nothing more. Of course I would go along with it because it was fun and cute. I know I'm a shameless flirt and I was flirting but I couldn't tell whether he was. Now, 3 years later, we're still friends and we still had these types of convos, about school and work and like you said, the regular bull

Crap, but I still couldn't tell. I mean I knew what I was doing. I had a strong feeling he was flirting too but I couldn't tell. But like I said, this isn't something you just do with anyone. Even in a relationship, I would do it, but I didn't expect anything to come of it. Even now, he's still with his girlfriend and we continue to text but that's it. We've even talked about it. I would say she is flirting and its just harmless flirting since ur both with others. Don't expect anything to come of it though

I just reread my answer to this question. Do you want something to happen? I'll let you know, while I said before not to expect anything to come of it, I take that back. This guy and I have continued this texting thing and it has gone further than I expected to the point where we've talked about sleeping together. What has happened with you?

I think its safe to say she's just being a buddy. Why not just come out and ask her? Is the reason for you not asking her because you would like it if it where flirting? or that you don't want her thinking that you are assuming she is flirting. ?

One thing girls do often with out realizing it is flirting. to them that's just how they are and stay friends with the opposite sex. Trust me you'll know when a girl is flirting.

You're flirting.both of you. And if you're both in relationships be careful this could get messy. And - it sounds like it's already getting worse if you're "hiding" it from others. If you were my boyfriend I would lose trust in you if I found out. Think about how you would feel if you're girlfriend was hiding something like this from you?

It depends on your conversations, but I would say she's probably flirting if she texts you that much.

well, I wouldn't text a guy for that long, that much if I wasn't interested.
