Why do natural girls act superior to girls who like to fix themselves up?

Question

There are some women who don't do anything to their appearance, like style their hair, wear makeup or wear cute clothes and sometimes they make remarks to women who do choose to do these things. They'll say "Oh why do you wear makeup?" "I don't need to wear makeup" (Often times these broads could really use a fresh paint job on the barn door) And similar remarks that I feel are meant to come off superior to women who like to be girly.  Why do some women see making an effort as a bad thing and criticize women who do?

I don't know because they think they are feminist activists making a political statement by not wearing make-up and taking care of themselves? It probably has to do with the stereotype that girls who wear make up and put an effort into their appearance are stupid I mean just look at any comic on 9gag written by a girl they ALWAYS portray the mean/bitchy/rude/ dumb girl as wearing make up and caring about fashion, the whole "guys prefer natural girls" thing, It sets them appart from majority of girls, the only girls that get noticed negatively tend to wear make up badly and don't represent human kind well (i.e they are dumb) it is seen as fake, seen as hiding something due to lack of confidence, upbringing... It is an accumulation of a lot of factors that have lead to an unjustified sense of superiority it does go both ways quite often though. Personally I love make-up and taking care of how I look and I don't take kindly to women imposing their standards of beauty on me because quite frankly it doesn't matter if other women like how you look unless you are a lesbian.

If you want to know the truth girls like me who don't wear make up want to feel independent they still don't feel good about themselves unless they're drop dead gorgeous .So when they see these confident girls,they keep on telling themselves that makeup is lie so they won't have the need to change themselves for others. They also get jealous that guys treat  girls that  don't wear makeup like one the guys so they don't get to feel like a girl. We honestly use the natural beauty excuse because were always stuck in friends zone,if guys didn't criticize us then we wouldn't criticize you. Natural  or not beauty is in eyes of the beholder you feel good about wearing makeup that's  be proud you worked hard to get the way you are. And if you don't then why change.oh and guys don't favor natural beauty they just can't tell the difference,and need to be told unless she's a super  model yo can still spot your friend even if she not wearing makeup.Makeup enhances what you alreay have.

I've come across this SO many times. Some women have this arrogance when it comes to natural vs make-up. I see it all the time. Only conclusion I could reach is that they feel like they are "better" because they THINK they don't need make-up to look attractive. I emphasized on the think because in reality, they probably don't look nearly as attractive as those do wear some make-up because like it or not, make-up does make you look more attractive. It's been proven over and over again. Therefor they hold a superior attitude but the only sad thing is that it's ironic how they think they are "natural" but yet they color their hair, straighten their hair etc in order to also improve their look but all of a sudden that magically doesn't count anymore and they still see consider themselves natural which is absolute BS.

because they think women who wear it are "fake" They're used to being so natural and embracing it, that they think women who wear make up are scared to be more natural, so they think they're above them or something.

They probably see make up as something women use to cover themselves up (hence why you said sometimes some of the girls who say these things could use it) rather than knowing it's to enhance the way a woman looks, if used correctly of course.

I use make up, but women who wear too much of it and don't use it correctly are always going to get a bad wrap about it in my opinion lol.

I have so many friends who wear tons of make up and would just look prettier with only a bit. Too much make up comes across as fake.

Also I don't really think it's healthy if girls get up 3 hours early everyday just to put on those amounts of makeup, curl or straighten their hair and try on 10 different outfits

they are jealous guys don't want them. in all honesty girls who wear 0 makeup are usually not noticed by guys as much, they are probably bitches in general who want something to triumph over other girls

I don't wear make up because I don't know how to wear it, I would love to look even more gorgeous but I still take care of myself in other ways, I hate girls who act all superior because they don't use make up
