How to avoid itching POST-tan?

Ever since i've started tanning, at the beach.. my skin has been itchy, any tips for people that are into tanning? I use lotion but doesn't really do much.

Use aloe or some sort of after-sun lotion to stay mosturized after laying out in the sun. Also, make sure you put on sun screen. If you don't use any sun screen, even if your skin isn't red you are still damaging it, which could lead to itching. So wear some sun screen and you will still tan, and then use an after-sun lotion with aloe to keep your skin healthy :)

I tan in the beds and out in the sun and I use cocoa butter. Any brand will do. I use superstore brand, you get a big round container for about 4 bucks.

It could be the lotion itself, not the tanning. Some people have really sensitive skin, so some lotions and soaps will cause irritation.

Yeah, it helps to read the ingredients labels on products to see what's in it. As well as buying lotions and soaps for sensitive skin.
