NO! Never work out on an empty stomach! You need the energy in the morning, especially if you want to work out. Have a cereal bar and some og before you work out for an hour.
I have actually experienced a girl faint on me because she had an empty stomach. After she had some juice she was better. But this experience made me eat a bagel and drink some milk, before I started school in the morning. (I am homeschooled)
As for burning more cals on an empty stomach, that is a myth. You should eat as much as you can before you work out in the morning, you can be full and not gain the extra weight. But never workout on an empty stomach. This is coming from someone who jogs a mile early in the morning. :)
Hope this helps!

eh.. i dont think it is really, why not take like a fruit or something before you go? :)
I would reocmmend having a source of hydration with you but eat at least a bit of something. We used to work out on empty stomachs 5 days a week in the military and it never felt good.
I always had an apple or some fruit before we did our PT and I felt like I had more energy to workout w/ my unit. Be sure you give it roughly half an hour prior to your workout though or you may get stomach cramps
Ehhh... not really.
However if you're carb deprived and your body is out of glycogen to run on , you MAY be able to burn more "fat" , but calories wise it's not gonna be that different not to mention how you can't run at 100% efficiency on an empty stomach.
Just eat a high protein breakfast and then hit the treadmill.

There's no issue unless you're doing cardio. as long as you're hydrated, you can workout on an empty stomach and possibly burn more fat. Weight lifters do this a lot since you really don't need a breakfast to get a good lift in, but you do need something right after.
Have a light breakfast an hour or more before your workout. If it's less than an hour before you workout, have an extremely light breakfast, then have a second breakfast afterwards along with a high GI snack straight after your workout to boost muscle recovery.
Trust me on this, I used to be an athlete training 12 times a week.I read that if you do it within 2 hours of just waking up it's okay... and a good for weight loss... But I think it was referring to running... Otherwise no. You must have some healthy snak at least, prior. I did that this morning, and my bf said I'm crazy and that I should never work out on an empty stomach. He has a trainer. I don't. ... but I think I'm right. :]!
I believe its called intermittent fasting, whereby you fast for 16 to 24 hours and workout in the morning without breakfast. I think its used to burn more fat. I did that for a month and lost 5 pounds of fat (weight training and cardio), and got shredded. Look it up on Youtube.

HodgeTwinsBetter than on a full one, but best is being something in-between.
No you can't. You might even be worse off that way, since you'll eat more. Normal hunger/breakfast + after workout hunger + energy burnt. Compared just to Breakfast&After work out snack.I always do that too, but people tell me it's better to eat before. Although I am not doing it because I think it burns more calories. I just like waking up and working out. I feel it wakes me up more. It's never made me feel dizzy or anything, and I always eat healthy afterwards. If I end up eating before a workout, I have to wait a bit because I feel uncomfortable working out with food in me. So I'd rather get up and go.
empty stomach cardio burns 3 times more fat as over a fasted night ur glocuse levels are low and carbs aren't actually there so ur body uses fat as a source of fuel but don't too much or it will eat up muscle to
That's fine to do. As long as your stomach isn't so empty that you pass out, it is better for you. All my workout class instructors have always said to come on empty/close to empty stomachs.
id rather not. even if its just something small. make sure hydrated to, were all dehydrated when we wake up
I think it is better to consume sth easy. Cereal & milk , I can say.
I am not a nutritionist but I feel better if I eat sth before work out.Initially yes. But it has to be within the first hour. Drinking water within 20 min of waking helps too
If you want to lose weight and to see results, strength training is better. Running for an hours seems miserable
Never bright idea to work out on empty stomach
