Too much sleep. You're not awake enough, eating enough, active enough to trigger your body into maintaining a fair amount of gylcogen in the blood. The result is you feel groggy all the time. Get your adrenaline going a couple times throughout the day, and set your alarm clock and force yourself to wake up no longer than 8 hours.. do it a couple days and your daily energy will eventually restore. Ironically sleeping too much makes us more sleepy, and the cure to the sleepiness is to sleep less.
It's called oversleeping. Aside from all the stuff you neglect to do, it's relatively harmless and easily fixed. Again, just force yourself to sleep less and be active a couple days and it goes right away.
And yes it's normal. We all have things that come up in life that make us crash and oversleep and that oversleeping leads to more and etc.. til we forcefully break the trend because we have to go do this or that. E. g. I work Fri-Sun 12 hour shifts, so come Sunday I have tendency to stay up until I crash and sleep 12+ hours... then I either nip it the butt the next day, or I'm tired all week until Friday when I'm forced to be awake longer.

A sleep disorder is possible. See a pulmonologist or neurologist for a sleep study and an MSLT to rule anything respiratory or brain-related cause.
