Make-up, too much sunlight, and too much drinking/smoking ages your body. My 25 year old sister is always dying her hair, tanning, and she drinks all the time. Someone once asked if she was my mother. I'm 32, but most guess me between 19 and 25. I never go into the sun, or wear make-up, and I rarely drink. I have never even tried cigarettes. I don't exercise, or eat healthy, but I am very active. I hike/walk a lot just for fun. I drink mostly non-diet caffeinated soda. Your genetics play as much part as your choices.

The ugly ducklings turning into swans thing is true. I think people mostly say the pretty girls get ugly to make the ugly ducklings feels better about themselves. Take care of yourself and you'll be fine!

He'll also be pretty for all of eternity.
You can very well stay pretty for a long time. But you have to be proactive in being healthy and taking care of your skin and body. Yoga and weight lifting does wonders in preserving women's bodies.

not possible to be ageless
since we all would grow old one day.
but it is possible for someone who isn't attractive in high school to become someone who is attractive.
our looks would change as we grow olderYou age no matter what but if you take care of your skin and all that you might be able to slow down the effects of aging. (just from observing people)
Not possible. Everyone loses their looks eventually. Some keep them longer than others, but nobody keeps them forever.
Well, gravity eventually takes over but yeah, I think for the first part of our lives, we can remain good looking (granted you're already good looking)
