Girls, What products do you use for you hair (I have natural African American hair)?

I use care free curl activator gold instant acitivator. Lol i know this product is an oldie espicially for jerry curl fans but my curl pattern is really define because i straighten it a lot (so its heat trained and sometimes straighten out on its own when dried) so i need something that really curls my hair (i have type 3b curls) i also use Queen Helene Cholestrerol hair conditioning cream which is great for keeping up healthy hair. Even though my hair is mid way to my back thanks to dying my hair all the time i keep getting split ends/breakage so i use proclaim anti-breakage coconut oil shampoo and conditioner and i also use eco style (olive oil -10) gel and for my leave in conditioner i use shea moisture. For my oils (sometimes i mix it for pre poo or co wash) i use a mixture of coconut oil + sesame oil + coconut oil. I also do a hair masque (eggs and olive oil) and sometimes a vinegar rinse once a month to balance my scalp's pH balance.

For starters there's no such things as African American hair. But if you mean kinky, curly, Afro texture then I understand.
I don't have Afro hair (even though I'm African American) but I have 3b curly hair and I use shae moisture, AsIAm coconut cowash, treseme naturals, and coconut oil

Kinky curly is the typical hair type for African Americans, but I put African American so people would have an idea. My hair has a mixture of different textures.

There's not hair type for one ethnic group. Just like hite people can have curly, straight, and wavy hair; we can too. It's totally possible

There IS such thing as having ethnic hair which falls under african/african american/ black people hair. Yes we all can have different hair types but white people and black people have different hair scutures. For instance, oiliness isn't good for white people hair but it is for black people. White people wash their hair a lot mean while black people wash it 1-2 a month. When white people get perms it makes their hair curly meanwhile it makes black people hair straight. there's some products that are made for white people that would dry black people scalp out (trust me I've had my share of some). I have 3b hair type also.

@simplyme13 so the lack of melanin (pigment that makes brown people brown) is what makes a perm cause their hair to be curly.
If you have a person with straight hair a perm their hair goes curly, if you give a person with curly hair a perm is makes their hair straight. Regardless if race. A perm does whatever the opposite of your natural hair texture is. Pigment has nothing to do with that or else every light skin ball person would get have wavy hair.
My hair gets oily. Yup that's right. I wash my hair every three days. So one again pigment has nothing to do with how often you should wash your hair. When you was your hair is determined by texture, oiliness of scalp, dandruff and just whenever you want to do it. Do black people tend to hair junkies hair textures that tends to be drier, yes. But their blackness is not what makes them have to wash their hair more or less.

There is a such thing as African American hair due to our origins. Our hair (course) is the way it is due to being from Africa. The thick courseness that comes from Black hair was to protect

I'm mixed but look white (Pale skin, blue eyes, freckles) with 3b curls. To tame my hair I use Noodle Head. Its really awesome stuff! I also like Misses Jessie's Coily Custard (it adds a nice shine).

You have a nice curl pattern. I wish mine were as loose as yours. Your curls are quite loose. I don't know if noodle head would tame mine enough, but I'll try it if the stuff I just bought doesn't work.
