Why is that I look tall when I'm sitting?

okay i've had so many people tell me that. today my teacher saw me standing nd she was surprised n she was like 'wow you're so short i thought you were tall. you look very tall when sitting' why do people say this! god i feel so bad!

Proportionately my torso is longer and my legs shorter. So I guess I also look taller when I am sitting. I know it is harder to fit in cars as far as head room, than other guys that are the same height.

Wow if only all my problems were this simple haha. It may be because you have a long torso, not a problem at all.

i dont have a long neck.. might be longer torso but i've never felt it either

I have some experience with this bc people think I look taller in my pictures but it's bc I have a long torso that gives that illusion.

It's more related to your genetics but you maybe try streching since you're under 18 I assume that could help a little.
