It sounds like anxiety to me. The pain in your side could have been caused by your coughing, and anxiety causes numbness in lots of places, even your back. Your body is drained. It's going through a lot right now! Take some medicine, and get some rest.
Have you talked to anyone about these anxiety attacks? Were you diagnosed with anxiety disorder? If these attacks become bothersome you might need medicine. And hun, do yourself a favor and try not to look things up anymore. You'll only make your anxiety worse.

You're sick and hormonal and you have anxiety. Of course you feel like crap. And you're only making it worse by freaking out. Trust me I've been there.
Relax, get comfy, put on a movie, make sure you're hydrated, use a heating pad and some aleve for your cramps and just chill. If in a few days you're still having odd concerning symptoms give your doc a call. But I'm sure you're fine hun

It does sound like anxiety. When I start having an episode, I begin to go numb. It's usually my face first and then the rest of me, but I suppose it's different for everyone. Good lick. Talk to someone about your anxiety. It's likely it will help. :)
