I also ran/walked for 45 minutes today. I kind of want to go again maybe?
Can you take a look at what I'm eating and tell me if its okay for weight loss?

How fast do you need to lose weight? ... Probably for the holidays right?
1. What is your target weight? What is is now?
2. Drop the over half an hour of 'running/walk'. RUN a mile and set a time. Improve that time. You will be getting more done cardiovascular-ly than a timed set of running/walking. If you really want to push it, take up interval sprints.
Along side your diet you need to increase the time spent on exercise. Exercise MUST BE kept at a moderately high intensity (at least 75% of your max effort) to reap the benefits. Make sure to rest accordingly as well, overwork is definitely an overlooked danger.
Diet? meh, eat only till you're just satisfied and exercise harder. If you want to lose weight for a weigh-in (dropping down 2 weight classes) maybe you should just settle for a tomato. Otherwise, seems pretty normal. Drop your soda/juices for just water.
Special K is not too good. If you like it, go for porrige made with water, not milk. Scrambled egg fine, but don't use butter. Brown rice is good. Extra fibre in it will make you last out longer before feeling hungry again. Same with the porrige. Allow 2 snacks/treats a day when you feel peckish between meals. They can be pretty much anything under 100 cals each. Handfull of cherry tomatos, 2 ginger biscuits for examples. There is a correct balance of carbs, protein, fruit and veg, fats and dairy. Make sure you drink plenty of flavoured water. Avoid pure fruit juices. Full of fructose, which is fruit sugar.
Ok- basic laws of thermodynamics apply here. You burn more calories than you consume, you will guaranteed lose weight because you will consistently run off a deficit. The only way that works for everyone, is to limit your diet to a calorie count equal to or less than what you burn during the day and with exercise. An important note, however, is to also improve the QUALITY of calories you consume- lean meats, protein and nutrient dense foods will always trump high fat, high salt food.
Fruit and veggies are always good.
