What is wrong with my teeth?

I know their bad you dont need to tell me, but why are they like this? Is it a jaw issue? How can i fix the weird shapes of them and the crookedness and my gums showing? its seriously intefering with the way i look. I hate my smile so much

Well your teeth are not nearly as bad as mine.

We can't do anything for you though. You need to get to a dentist, who will probably send you to an orthodontist. Between the two of them they can do a lot. The gums would be probably be in the province of the dentist. Straightening the teeth (which are not that bad) would be in the province of an orthodontist. You also have an overbite which would probably be the orthodontist. Although in my opinion an overbite is not a big deal and it's fine as-is.

I'm not positive, but I think so. I also have an overbite. I can't quite close my teeth all the way. Like some of my top and bottom teeth don't completely touch, but are very close. But I don't think that's what determines an overbite. I think it's just about the tip teeth overlapping the bottom. I could be wrong though.

Actually with me, the only reason I can close my teeth as well as I can is because I've ground my teeth for decades and some of them were ground down enough so the others can meet.

cannot afford them :( and im 17 i dont want braces in my 20s and stuff. is there a shorter alternative

I don't know u just have bad teeth genetics lol go to a dentist he or she should know if it's fixable
