How long time does an eardrum take to heal?

I was at my doctor today because my ear is fucked up, and he said my eardrum was broken and said I have to talk to an ear doctor, but that's 2 months queue.

He gave me some pills in case it's water in it and otherwise I'll just have to wait...

So how long time does it take to heal?

I didn't wait 2 months.

The procedure is talk to my doctor => get referred to an ear doctor which is like 2 months wait time before I can go. Queue time

gag is not the right place for this, you should go to an ear Dr just in case
why did you wait 2 months it could be one of those things where you have to catch it at early stages otherwise it would get worse

Trust me. The first thing that came to my mind was my doctor, as of now I can only wait and hope for the best, which is why I asked here

It'd pretty bad. I can barely hear on my right ear and it feels like it's completely filled up with water

Ahhh I had that haha that's fluid in your ear. I just kept adding drops in to it and once warm water and stuffed with a cotton ball and eventually the stuffy feeling left. But I did get an MRI scan and it showed a lot of fluid in my eat so the doctor gave me meds to drain it and after a month on pills he said it was much better

He said he couldn't see any fluid in my ear, but gave me meds just in case it's that. He said he could see my eardrum is broken and referred me to an ear doctor, but there's quite some wait time for that

Well he couldn't see fluid in mine either hence why I had to get an MRI. This was talking to an ENT aka the ear doctor. He told me that the water feeling I had was due to extra fluid because I got this after long flights so it's the pressure that caused fluid to build up.
I don't get why it takes that long for you. The ENT has specific days but not really a waiting list. I got an ent within a week after seeing a normal doctor first

Don't ask me why, at least I already got med for fluids if that's it. It does seem to just be the wait list. He couldn't tell me when I would be called in for it but when I asked he said it "could take up to 2 months"

If its an infection I think it goes away with antibiotics but a torn eardrum needs repair

I can't get any help before 2 months and it's not infected, at least not yet

My eardrum is broken. That's what my doctor told me, and he is referring me to an ear doctor, but that can take up to 2 months before I'm called in for that
