What age should you start? The sooner the better. Joking. I'd say start with beer or since your a girl wine coolers or something similar. It's tough to get too drunk too fast with those unless you're seriously pounding them. Me I did it vice versa. Started drinking different variants of whiskey (scotch, bourbon ect) then got to beer. Hangovers- Advil with water or gator aid will kill the worst of them I've found. Don't drink beer before liquor. The sweeter the drinks the worst the head ache I've found. Drinking on an empty stomach gets you drunk way faster. Don't drive while drinking period. That's about it. Bottoms up.
Physiologically your body is ready yes. As for anything else... there's really no way to tell you anything without knowing anything about you. People's tolerance for alcohol varies greatly.

i start a 13, but just a little from my dad cup he'll just let me taste it and now i can drink more, my body is strong against alcohol, honestly it depend on you, try with a trust friend or parent and see how your react.
Honestly when I was younger I had no problem with hangovers, until I turn 19.

Alcohol is never good for you, the answer is pretty much the older the better. I dont think there is really much difference (physically) between starting at 18 or 21.
Start easy, listen to your friends if they say you've had too much, if you pass out try to end up on your front.
The only way to truly prevent hangovers is to limit what you drink. Everyones tolerance is a little difference.
I first drank at 12 years old getting drunk in a vineyard in spain. But since then I have had drinks here and there, I have had the time to work out my limits, I know when to stop and how bad it feels to get really drunk. In my family we have always been allowed to drink from any age, I could grab one right now and no one would care, this means I actually no drink less than most people I know.
I was 17 years, 11 months, and 26 days old (almost 18).

Alcohol is gross and so bad for the body. Don't start until later. It make's people act stupid, why even drink it?

Wait till you're 21 so you can make a big deal about it. Go to a bar with GOOD, DEPENDABLE friends and order a Four Horsemen and a Bear Fight then hang on tight!
I say 18. If you can join the military and fight for your country then you can have a beer.
