Being active during the day, to be honest. That's pretty much the best way to ensure falling asleep quickly. Going to bed ACTUALLY tired = instant snoozing.
What helps me fall asleep might not be recommended by doctors though haha. I have trouble sleeping for the most part. But I love falling asleep while watching youtube videos. Playthroughs of games, to be exact. Something calming and unimportant, I don't want the game to be too interesting or else I'll just want to stay up and keep watching it. But doctors would hate me for this since they recommend falling asleep in the dark, and in silence. :D

Have a blank mind and take really, really deep breaths and just focus on those breaths.
Also, this sounds odd, but looking at a phone or computer screen can help because it makes your eyes tired (but to some people this does the opposite) so you can always read.
You can also drink chamomile tea.
This on is the weirdest but, I put moisturizer or lotion on my eyelids because over time the product falls a bit so it gets into your eye and makes your eyes burn a bit and it makes you feel really tired. it takes me an hour or more to fall asleep and when I do this I fall asleep almost instantly.
I quit drinking coffee before 12 pm. I stay active throughout the day when I'm at work (pace around my office, take the stairs, go for walks).
When I get home, I usually have dinner by 7 pm at the very latest and I'm brushing my teeth shortly after that. If a game is on, I'll watch that.
To help me fall asleep, I take an all-natural liquid melatonin and that usually knocks me out.
For me reading a book is the quickest way to go to sleep.

I've been trying to figure that out.
Music has been my last resort lately. I'll make a small playlist of a few of my favorite peaceful songs. I'll leave my laptop on, lie down and play the list, and by the time the songs are all done my computer and I are both nodding off.No TV, computers, smartphones or screens near your bed whatsoever is what's most important to me. Being active during the day helps a lot too.

For me, it often requires obscene amounts of prescription medication. I've had severe, treatment resistant insomnia for years.
i listen to calm music first and usually fall asleep in 5 mins , if that doesn't help me then i start fantasizing things and if that too doesn't help me then it's fap session.
wake up at 6, work out in the morning. u will go to sleep at night without any difficulties. and don't touch the mobile..
Take little weed and switch off the lights.. Then go to bed with blank mind.. Then... 😴😴😴😴
