MOST of adults have intolerance towards milk. That's just scientifically proven. Those that say they don't either fall under the very small category of mutated genes where they can still process milk well, or they just never really digest milk as a clean drink... so they think a bit of it in their coffee means they're fine with it...

Your answer is half true. Yes, many adults are lactose intolerant, but the reason you give is wrong. It has nothing to do with gene mutation.

Babies are naturally dependent on their mother's milk, so all humans have the gene to produce lactase, the enzyme to digest lactose. In adulthood, these genes sometimes turn off because from an evolutionary perspective, the body is wasting energy producing lactase when it should never encounter milk as food. It is not a mutation.

However, you can trigger the body to produce more lactase, simply by drinking incrementally higher amounts of milk. Start with half a cup dailyfor a week, then drink more. Eventually, the bloating will not be as bad, although it may never go away.

Solution is to drink lactase treated milk.

I have plenty of issues with dairy. I have both a cow, goat, and sheep's milk allergy in addition to being lactose intolerant.

I have no issues at all. I use milk for cereal, I drink a glass of milk when I eat bread with jam and I drink some more before going to bed. Sometimes I just randomly pour myself some and simply drink a plain glass of milk with nothing else, just because.

everyone has miilk intolerance most just dont know it. milk is for baby cows not humans. thats why girls today have so much acne and shit. it the growth hormons and toxins from the dairy they consume.

My sister has a problem with it though, she is lactose intolerant. I think this problem is more common in women than men to be honest from what I see.

I can eat it. It just hurts my liver, a bit like eating too much chocolate or refined/fatty foods in general. You can make a fairly decent argument that humans shouldn't be eating it anyway. Milk is nasty though. Cheese is yum :)
