dancing is cardio as long as you are moving your body, eating clean you will lose weight. Now for being toned you need to make sure you eat lots of protein count your macros and figure out what your body needs more. For example, does your body need more protein than fats or more fats than proteins or equal carbs, proteins and fats. 70 percent of abs are built in the kitchen. Otherwise just eat healthy and as long as there is consistency you will be toned. It doesn't happen overnight I say expect a few months to build muscle per pound. Losing weight expect a couple months just stick to it. I you can also lift as well as the dancing.
