A jean problem, who is right?

so I went shopping with my best friend Megan a couple days ago. she bought a brand new pair of black skinny jeans. I didn't have any luck with pants because I'm really short and have tiny legs. anyway, I went back to the mall a couple days later, since I still needed pants. I found a really comfy black pair (id always wanted black ones) but as I was about to pay, I realized they were the same ones as Megans. I bought them anyway, since I really have a hard time finding ones that fit good. she came over and saw them. I explained what happened and then she said " can you please take them back?"

what is your opinion on this? should I really have to take them back? I'm going to anyway but I want to know who is right.

i know it would be different if I got the same shirt, but pants? come on you can't even tell...

Like the same pants is not a big deal at all.

My best friend and I have like 5 pairs of jeans that are the same, and yeah we've bought some at the same time.

It's only to be expected your friends would have similar style to you if you hang out all the time.

If you like them so much why bring them back?

I totally agree, it is so freaking stupid. and as much as I don't want to bring them back, I know she would give me a hard time every time I wear them. to me it would not be worth it and I would never wear them, even though they are so cute on me.

that's stupid. pants are pants and pretty much look the same. you said you have a hard time finding pants that fit and if you find a pair that you feel comfortable in, you shouldn't take them back because your friend is being petty.

She needs to realize that there are thousands of other girls that have the same pair of pants as her. KEEP THEM and don't worry about what she says! You needed pants, you found a pair that fit, you bought them, end of story :)
