What should I do the next time I see him?

So the other day at school this /really/ cute guy stopped me as I was walking by and introduced himself, and asked me another question about myself. He asked for my name, too. I'm pretty shy around guys sometimes, lol, so I didn't talk to him much. We play sports so we sometimes pass each other in the gym, where I might see him. He passed by the other day, but I was nervous and I didn't know If I should make eye contact and say hey or wave. I focused on what I was doing instead.

Next time I see him, what should I do? (:

Jeez, what does this guy have to do to get you to speak with him and loosen up a bit? You're both into sports and he is clearly at least somewhat interested in getting to know you ... so let him get to know you. Say hi, smile, make eye contact and just have fun. Let's not overthink this before we've actually had a real conversation with him, OK?
