Why is it that I have never been asked out or approached?

OK so I have never had a boyfriend nor have I ever been asked out. I don't think I'm ugly and this is my personality: I love sports (especially basketball), I love to go to the beach and hang out with friends, I am very outgoing and really easy to talk to, I also love to joke a round and I have a good sense of humor so I try not to take anything said against me too seriously, I have good grades. What I'm looking for: tall (I'm five feet nine and a half inches so they need a be taller), loves sports, loves to laugh and make me laugh, easy to talk, I can tell anything to him, cute, and fun loving and outgoing. Sounds to me like you are one of the guys. You joke and hang out with them they might see you as more of one of them then a female sucks but true try to distance yourself from them as a friend

but I like being one of the guys its who I am. just because I can throw a football and kickass at basketball doesn't mean I'm NOT a girl. I mean yeah I can wear skirts and talk gossip (those aren't really my style though) how do I stay one of the guys AND one of the girls?

You need to flirt... defiantly at a young age when some guys are shy. You need to drop hints and make sure what you say won't be interpreted wrong and turn him off.
