Why did my guy friend's new girlfriend ask me if I've been married or if I wanted kids?

I don't know if she was trying to get to know me or my other friend (not my guy friend) but I've never been asked them and they're kind of personal. I barely know her and she's not my friend.

Later on into the night, she also started asking about favorite comfort TV shows and when I mentioned I enjoyed Buffy The Vampire Slayer, she acted like she felt bad for me because I like that show. She also acted superior when my guy friend said he liked both Star Trek and Star Wars and said he couldn't like both. She also proceeded to install an application onto his Playstation without asking him (she doesn't live there and they've only been dating for about two weeks) and started playing her music without any consideration about anyone else's musical tastes (mine is completely different and is similar to my guy friend's).

She's a nice girl but those interactions were just odd and I'm just scratching my head over them.

So they broke up and my friend went back to his ex who dumped him six years ago shortly afterwards and had hurt him deeply when they broke up. He's spoken about this ex girlfriend before and I've never heard good things about her. I still haven't. I don't get why someone would go back to someone who hurt you in the worst way possible in the past (he got sick with cancer, she left and previously made him rehome his dog). Exes are exes for a reason. Always will be my friend though.

There's a fifteen year age gap between my friend and I and this girl is six and a half months older than I am.

Not going call out any attributes about her though. Just only met her yesterday. She told me she was his girlfriend after asking "You don't know who am I, do you?" Almost as if she was trying to be important and I don't care if she thought she was. He actually told me she was just a friend and then sort of his girlfriend later on. He didn't seem to sure that if it would last or not.

My friend was making jokes about putting D. R. I (punk thrash metal band) on her Spotify and she got all indignant because she didn't want him messing up her playlists. He wasn't meaning any harm and I even got he was joking around.

I suppose so. I wasn't too impressed with her snobbery of Star Trek being superior. And her constant proclamation of being a nerd and gamer girl. Real nerds and people who are into gaming don't constantly have to say they are and actual nerds also respectful of other fandoms and don't care if you like more than one fandom.

I already don't like her. There's something about her energy and attitude that is really off putting.

She bought my friend's old Blazer from him, failed to sign the paperwork over to her, and proceeded to hit someone with the vehicle and caused an accident. She fled the scene and was cited for it. My friend was pissed and decided he didn't want anything to do with her for about two weeks and they weren't dating in that time span. I went over to his house yesterday to watch the Superbowl with him and she was there. He asked her to help him with something and she kind of whined about it shortly after I got there. She also got annoyed with me for trying to strike up a conversation with her and figuring out who was who during the halftime show and I think turned up her nose up at me because I didn't listen to the genre or know who Kendrick Lamarr was. She ended up mostly ignoring everyone while glued to her phone and then proceeded to pass out on the floor under the table. My friend checked to make sure she was alright and she bitched at him for it.

Looks like I'll be limiting my interaction with him for quite some time because I do not want to be around his girlfriend. Her energy is just off is all I can say.

Would like what? Have kids or get married? My friend, the one she's dating, likes kids as long as he can give them back and doesn't want to get married. He has said so many times over the past three years.

If it's about her liking Buffy The Vampire Slayer, I doubt it based off of her being kind of snobby about liking both Star Trek and Star Wars.
