I want to lose fat, but I don't want to lose weight. Is it bad to be this much under budget?

i saw a nutritionist a few months back and according to her I'm supposed to eat 1,600 calories a day.

i've noticed I'm usually 300 or 400 calories shy of that on a normal day, and today I still have 870 calories I can eat (I only ate 730 calories today).

i want to lose fat, but I don't want to lose weight, if that makes sense. I want to stay the same number of pounds.

is it bad to have so many calories left at the end of the day?
