If a guy invites you to his rugby game is it awkard to show up alone?

He wants me to go because he says its a chance for me to see him being all manly and such. None of my girls want to sit through a 3 hour game. Should I go alone? I am kinda shy, would it be awkard me sitting there next to the field alone?

I agree with both ladies on this one. I would feel really awkward too. But, he obviously really wants you to go. Maybe you can show up for the last 30 minutes to catch him in action and to hang out with him after. If he asks why you werent there for the whole game, tell him you were too shy to sit somewhere alone and have confidence when you tell him. Call yourself a sissy to show you have a sense of humor :) I would have no problem telling him that. Because that is who I am and how I feel.

I personally wouldn't go to something like that alone unless he were my boyfriend or we'd been seriously dating for a while. If you guys just started hanging out or are in the beginning stages, try to bring a friend or don't go. Maybe bribe a friend a little saying you'll be there for her when she needs a wingwoman lol

Well I suppose it's a little more serious. If you feel comfortable going alone then go for it. I'd personally try to find someone to go with me though, sitting during a whole game by yourself can get pretty boring lol

you're not there for other people to judge you, you're there for this guy. you either care about him/dont...you do, you go no matter how stupid you look and if you still care how stupid you look then you don't care enough for him. people may notice you're alone, but so what? you think they're going to laugh and point and say "oh that girl has no friends"? no...go for him because you care for him, and he will be so happy you came :)

i agree with you may I ask in your opinions I don't know have this happen but have it happen before when a girl shows up alone and they laugh at her/or they flirt with her when some guys might assume a girl is still single have any of these two things happen before if this question is stupid I'm sorry I'm just asking out of curiosity

in my experience (my cousin's games and his gfs) they never get laughed at nor do they get flirted with...i think if you see a girl ab the same age as the guys playing you would assume she's there for that reason...that's just in my experience tho :) no question is a stupid question because it makes you that much smarter than you were before the question was asked :)

Well, is he your boyfriend. If he is, don't go alone. Sit by some cool people you see there. If they get into a conversation with you, tell them who your dating. If he's not your boyfriend, sit by cool people anyways. Buy junk food, they might think your not all that shy, and who knows, you might find a friend there.
