Could be a few things. Maybe just a long and heavy period.
Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a possibility, though the most common symptom of that is reduced menstrual activity. Are you typically regular? Male pattern hair growth and increased acne are also possible symptoms.
Is it heavier than usual or a different smell/color? Bright red could mean you're bleeding regular blood, not menstrual blood, though some variance is normal.
Are you healthy otherwise? Obesity/high cholesterol can lead to menstrual irregularities.
I know you were asking for answers from girls, but I wanted to see if I could help. Good chance it's nothing.

That is odd. The only time I had such a long period was when I was in junior high it was one of my first periods ever and it lasted like 2 weeks, but the flow was only moderate not so heavy, it just went on and on for two weeks. But that was just irregular hormones, your first periods can be off-beat.
