Really weird question -- Would you still eat a certain food if....

you know it would give you digestive problems for about the next few hours afterwards? People always talk about what "taco bell" does to your system and while I have never had a problem with T.Bell (even though I find it gross) I recently came across a salad that taste delicious but basically guarantees me to have digestive burbling for a while after..

Now I am conflicted as to whether or not I should order the salad again?!

Btw - it is a gyro sandwich meal from a great lebanese place. I can eat the fries and sandwich gyro no problems.. it is just the salad :(

Yeah. I have stomach problems, I have stomach aches, bowel problems etc. and I know if I eat red onions the f***ers will give me a stomach ache the next day. As long as I don't have to go to school or work the next days they are going in my mouth, down my gullet, into my acid chamber, and out my anus.

Yes! Pesto, of all sauces, makes me sick, and sometimes stuffed cabbage gives me digestion problems. I may try to time when it is best to eat these items but in the end, I love them and can't stay away! I mostly eat them when I have nothing to do that night haha

lol thanks for the answer. I wasn't sure if this stuff even crossed anyone's mind. This salad is so good but digestion is made out to be something that is such a hassle if you know what I mean.. honestly, and this may sound weird, I don't mind it at all. Actually sometimes its nice to have a few minutes to just sit and relax lol

Depends on what I have to go through and how many hours. I think its the fermentation that goes on that is causing the burbling. If you really crave the salad and you have nothing to do for the rest of the day, then eat it.

well I mean not to get too graphic but it is pretty much delicious... and then about 30 minutes to an hour later it hits and requires a quick trip to the bathroom. and then again some time after that. I normally have very regular digestion and have no allergies.. well except for this.
