A farmer had 15 sheep, and all but 8 died. How many are left?
As a farmer who raised animals for 38 years, It is well within my expert opinion, this sheepherder should find a new line of work!

Eight. Or 15 if you are counting dead ones as 'left', it's a rather ambiguous term.
