I'd get a henna design as a tattoo because they're gorgeous and have cultural significance to me
If you HAD to get a tattoo, what would you get?
I'd get a henna design as a tattoo because they're gorgeous and have cultural significance to me
Thats Henna art, not a tat. But still cool.
I dunno. I've already gotten the Yin Yang I've wanted since forever, not sure what I'll get next.
Something abstract, needs to have a whole lotta meaning behind it though.
Maybe an abstract tsunami, or tornado. Some kind of natural disaster. Id have it surrounding the yin yang i think. Kind of like showing balance and serenity in the middle of a disaster.
I like the sounds of that.
Just saw your update. So glad I ALWAYS pick meaning over aesthetic XD
Just thought of something else I could get.
I get hip pains, got it once during sex... THAT hurt like a bitch. Usually just affects me when I'm bending over, standing up after sitting for a while, toilet seats often make it flare up worst the fuckers.
Everytime it happens, I get this visual in my head of this dangerous looking (yet beautiful) white flower opening up on my hip.

Like this but with wider petals, and the petals are white (with blue shading. Kind of holographic but only white to blue instead of ALL the colours)
So I could get that on my left hip since that's where the pain is (my yin yang has taken my right hip) if I can get a decent illustration of what's in my head.
Well I've always wanted a tattoo of roses and thorns going up my right leg and stopping halfway up my back. It'll loop around my leg. I've wanted it when I was about 8 and I completely forgot why I wanted that. I'm still on the fence on whether I'd get it or not, and then make up a meaning for it after 😅
I don't think I'll ever get one because I get bored of things quickly. But for te sake of the question, probably something like this.

Youd have to get a good colourist for that. A mate of my mums got a flower on her foot, two months later the colour all washed out and she was left with an unfinished looking outline.
Hmm, I guess I'd go with something representing Boston. That's the only thing I know will always be the same about me, where I'm originally born and raised. So maybe just "Boston" in old English lettering somewhere inconspicuous. I'm just not a tattoo guy, haha.
Maybe something understated like this😂

I'd love to get something like this, probably will as soon as I can spare the money.

An owl (totem animal). A blue butterfly (butterfly effect/chaos theory) or perhaps an opening lotus flower.
If we go advanced or spiritual, a single raindrop falling into water

With the uncoloured/translucent words: 単一性
I have a half sleeve on my left shoulder/arm of lotus in various stages of opening, but I went dragonflies, instead of butterflies 😊
@HaveQuestions I''m sure it looks beautiful. :)
Does it have a significant meaning? The way I know dragonflies, is that they symbolise playfulness and strength, though I suppose it differs depending on where you're from. The lotus flower for me, is because it's among my favourite flowers in the flower kingdom. :3
Thank you. Yes, it does have a very significant meaning to me.
Lol, dragonflies do represent both of those things, which I like. I think they fit. They are also dainty and graceful, but tough as nails (surviving what killed off larger beings), and they represent going beyond what’s on the surface (hovering over water) and looking into the deeper implications and aspects of life.
Lotus, have many meanings as well, of course. They only survive by growing in the darkest and murkiest mud. Beautiful flowers, roots in the darkness, faces to the sun. Every night, fall back into the dark, but are untouched by it. They bridge the gap between dark and light, and have adapted to use both equally well. They're also symbolic of gradual awareness, looking beyond the surface, and how beauty can be found in the most dark of places.
Both were symbolic of how atrocities cannot be buried, and how to be fearless in the dark because there's beauty even there.
"What is to give light must endure burning.
The last of human freedoms - the ability to chose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances.
Challenging the meaning of life is the truest expression of the state of being human."
HENNA TATTOO.
White girl obsessed with henna tattoos. I don't mind permanent tattoos, but I personally would never get one. I've always wanted a Henna Tattoo. Just like the picture.
I had one already but I would like to get one on my arms.

A flaming skeleton playing a flaming guitar with lightning coming out of it and the skeleton's eye sockets have snakes coming out of them and the snakes themselves also have flaming snake skull heads and tongues out with venom dripping off them. And the skeleton is standing on top of an erupting volcano and under a thunder storm in the rain.
A heart with a knife in it. The heart resembles love, and the knife resembles the rejection/ignoring that came from me having crushes and loves that went unfulfilled due to various circumstances that left me to believe that I will forever be alone no matter what I do. And that tattoo would be a reminder that I should not find love, because it would only end in agony on my end.
I've already got one, but I'm going to get my other sides family crest on my Oyer shoulder as well. I'm also going to get the phrase "the wealth of man is knowledge." In old Norse somewhere on my body. I haven't decided yet.
There are so many to choose from.. I'd like a cat, or a dragon.. Oh or the moon, on my back! I'm gonna go get one someday.. When I find money, that is XD
A bleeding heart with a dagger stabbed through it and a banner around it that says "Love Hurts"... At the area above my ankle. Left or right leg doesn't matter.
I would get a '1995' on my back. In fact that's the only tattoo I'm ever considering - the year of birth is about the only constant thing in my life that I could put to skin.
A chinese phrase that says "I was forced to get this tattoo" and then I'll tell everyone it's something really spiritual.
Why do tattoos have to have meaning? Fuck that. I'd rather have HIV. I have 9 tattoos that have no meaning. Also that picture is of henna.
Dude no hiv... Anyways I'd get henna all over my body, the designs are beautiful. But really I'd get my ex's name super big in Gothic letters with some tribal... he means so much to me.
I would get the first recorded heart beat of my future children on my bicep.
or possibly they're names.
A Butterfly or small Heart on my Right Shoulder Here, dear. Tasteful.
Better Hope as well, no Hep C with the Needle. xx
Id get two tattoos on both wrists saying O+ its my bloodgroup. When I've lost lots of blood and I've fallen uncoucious when someone checks my pulse they can tell my bloodgroup immediately which increases my survival chanches.
@Yumix not at all (о´∀`о)
@Yumix (*´∇`*)
Tattoos are like a bumper sticker on a Ferrari.
Where's the 'barf' icon?
Just my favorite sports team logo on my triceps or shoulders.
Oh please dont. I dont reccomend ever getting something you're a fan of.
Just cause you love them now doesn't mean you will next year!
@BaileyisDarcy Then there is really no good option. You never know when you change your mind. I might like my birthday now, but maybe not in 50 years. Haha.
a face of Pinocchio on my crotch. the eyes and forehead on top of my penis and my penis being the nose. the mouth and rest of face below. every time my penis gets an erection it will signify Pinocchio lying and his nose growing HAHA
something of my own design on my ribcage. something that reminds me of the ocean.
