Is it inappropriate to eat a lollipop in public? Why?

So I love lollipops I used to eat them when I was waiting for the bus or was just bored. I like them because it makes me feel like a child again and it brings me good memories. A guy friend told me it was extremely inappropriate for a girl to have lollipops in public.

Don't you think that's a bit stupid, common how dirty mind can you be kids eat lollipops all the time?

Can it be DONE inappropriately? Sure. Don't treat it like you were giving the lollipop a BJ and you won't have a problem.

Will you occasionally have some perv who can't get past the BJ image in his head? Sure, but that's HIS problem, not yours.
