There are many ways both men and women groom themselves. I happen to be a man who does not have hairy arms or back naturally. My arm hair is so fine and light you can't tell I have any at all. I personally don't like body hair. I didn't used to think about it at all, but I sort of do now, at least sometimes. I started shaving more of my body a couple of years ago (chest, stomach, underarms and even legs) My leg hair is not very thick and doesn't grow evenly... like I have none on the lower back part of my calves. I think it looks better to be evened up. Granted it would look better if I had a dark tan, but my legs are still muscular and don't look feminine. At first I thought it was really strange, but I've gotten used to it. I started with my legs when I was having sclerotherapy done to remove some spider veins around my knees and ankles. They wanted my legs shaved. I got used to doing it then and it isn't that much trouble. Underarms don't smell as much and it is easier to apply deodorant without the hair. I keep my pubic area trimmed short. I am just a regular guy who happens not to like a lot of hair. Shaving doesn't make you gay. It is just a preference. I think everybody should be judged individually. Some men look fine with body hair, some have WAY too much and at least need to trim it back some. Male models, dancers and athletes who shave everything look just fine, so I don't see the problem. Why do we have to participate in something specific for it to be acceptable?

I think its good if he doesn't groom himself too much. Shaving their arms and legs is too much, in fact, I don't know any guys that do that. I am instantly turned off by any guy who grooms themselves to much as I consider myself pretty low maintenance if I'm honest. Also, they'd seem quite feminine paying too much attention on their appearance. It kinda takes away their 'manlyhood'. Unless they are trying to attract someone in particular, I think it's best if a guy is laid back with his looks, but still looks decent. Having regular haircuts, shaving facial hair and being somewhat active is good.
why would you shave your legs and arms? swimming? *curious
i generally like 'em scruffy lol shadow, as long as he's not excessively woolly, I don't mind body hair...chest/back hair does bother me, not gonna lie...whatevs, as long as I'm not helping you wax anything, do whatever makes you feel better, just keep it natural.
I don't care as long as he doesn't take as long or longer than I do to get ready :P

It is all cool. I like a guy just the way he is (even if he has more than normal grooming) that if I like him. I meet guys who shave their legs for basketball. I met a guy who tried on women high heel at work. It was entertaining but really if you like someone for who they are, then you would accept their natural or groom habits too. Take a guy as a whole.
I like hairy guys and naturally smooth guys, shaved...eh, not so much. To answer your question, neatly groomed and clean. If I wanted a plucked little boy, there are several daycares in my neighbourhood.
hair removal on back, front, face and privates I like. But I think its manly when he has hairy legs and arms unless its really reall hairy, then I prefer it to be smooth
Whatever parts of his body my mouth will be near should be trimmed or free of stray hairs I can choke on. Other than that, I don't mind some hair on his boy parts.
However he is as long as it's not excessive, is how he should be.
I don't mind it as long he doesn't exhibit feminine features and puts on women perfume
