So I was dry humping with this girl I really like and we were doing it for about two hours, and we were about to go further which we haven't done before and I was having trouble getting hard (after being hard during pretty much the whole time we were dry humping). Thanks, it really does help hearing everyone say that I'm not a loser over this. I've been seeing her for like 5 months and have never once pressured her to do anything sexual for me (while I have always done things for her) and I feel like I've been extremely patient with her and I feel like I deserve at least some patience in return for things like this. It sounds like what's really bothering her is the fact that I said "let me just do it" because she felt like I was implying she couldn't and that kind of diminished the special nature of the moment. I apologized to her and told her I would never intentionally say anything that would make her feel bad about herself and basically told her how amazing I think she is but she's still upset and seems to think this is some kind of indictment of my character. I feel like I apologized and have tried to handle it as maturely as possible but if she feels like this is such a problem that it's a deal breaker then maybe that's not the kind of relationship I want.

I think it kind of doesn't matter what you said. What matters is that you and she don't seem to be seeing eye to eye on this. You could have said the same thing and another girl wouldn't be mad, or you could have said nothing and a different girl would still have been mad. If you're not getting along, then that's the problem.
