So I guess this is more of a poll than a question, but basically I've been a little worried anticipating what it's going to be like once I go back to college next month and get to see my boyfriend after not seeing each other all summer. We only started dating about a week or two before school got out and we had to part ways, but we text every night and he says he misses me and can't wait to see me again. I'm just afraid it's going to be really awkward when I move back in and he comes to see me. What do I do/say when I first see him? I'm also concerned that other people will probably be around, including my parents, so I feel like that's going to make the situation even more awkward. For anyone who has been in a long-distance relationship or in a similar situation, how would you handle this?
avoid meeting him when your parents are around, then when you meet him just great him with a big smile on your face and a nice hug. then talk about what he's been up to and what he's planning to do for freshers and make plans together.

Don't ask if he misses you, ask about what he did, how he did and whatever. If he says he missed you repeatedly without you asking it, then it's a wonderful sign.
