I'd have to go to another strip club. I'd give her a quick tip and get goin' If there was time to talk about it somehow then I'd have to ask her if she's only doing this cuz the financial aid ain't enough or whether she isn't getting any kind of financial support or is it because she could find any other job in town that would help her pay the costs of school? I'd even ask how far she plans to be in this kind of industry and whether or not if she'll go as far such as going into hardcore p0rn, or if it's just a temporary for the time being kinda thing. Just need it for the time being as a means to an end. Because I'd advise the latter, just do it for now, but once you find something better then maybe it's better to move on. But if it's really what she wanted, who the fuck am I to tell her not to and judge her for it?

I feel like he has no room to judge since he went in there to blow money on a lap dance lol. If he wants to act holier than thou then he's just being hypocritical and making himself sound dumb. I'm confused by the question. Are you asking what I would do? I'm not a Harvard professor so it doesn't seem to match the question. Are you asking what Harvard professor's would do? There's 2000 of them, I'd bet they'd all handle it differently. Or are you asking what a Harvard professor should do ethically?
There seems to be an assumption you are making in your question but I'm not sure what it is. What would you do/what do you think one should do?

guess I would leave and try to erase it from my memory and find another place to hang out in... if she tried to talk to me about it I would probably ask her to quit it and help her get a better job if she ignored it I will ignore it
I don't know if I'd ever be a professor in the first place. And unless I were aiding an investigation, you probably would never find me in a strip club. Not the kind of girls I go for. So... kinda hard to imagine ever being in that situation.

Why would i care? Profs have thousands of students and there's lots of temptations to cross ethical lines... Being a stripper just puts her at the top of the class.

It'd be one thing if he was driving down the street and saw her looking for clients as a hooker on the sidewalk. If you're at the strip club... well, that's no different than if he was selling drugs and one of his students contacted him on an ad.
My dad and mom had a good friend and roommate who dated and then eventually married a stripper (from what I've heard they are very happily married with kids) but A LOT of the girls there were in college and using it as a way to pay for college

I would just let her be who she is, if stripping is how she wants to live, then let her live like that, complaining about her behavior would be a very bitter thing to do, as if I harbor some hate towards her
