Dating with a 3 Year Age Difference... Right or Wrong?

3 years really isn't that big of an age gap at all. Depending on the state you live in and its laws regarding underage dating/relationships, you could still see the guy. I've had a friend who was similarly dating an "underage" girl, but she was like 16 while he was 19. It'd be another story if the age difference were much bigger though. So up to you, I think you should talk it over with him.
good idea. thank you!
I Ts great that you all are so liberal. But its ridiculous to date more than 2 years up or down. Especially more than 2 years down for a girl. (In high school years) You might like the guy,but its a recipe for disaster. I'm not being judgmental, just realistic. Good luck.
As far as it being' illegal in most cases'.. It only matters if its iegal where you liove.
I think you guys can date just can't f*** till he's 16. As far as everyone else -who gives a sh*t. worst that will happen, you won't get along, and you'll break up. plenty of 14 year old girls date 17 year old boys.
i don't think this is a Q for us-its a Q for you, and him.
Lol where I live at , most high school girls are dating boys of 2 years of age older & up. There are 14 year old with 18 year old guys, same has 16 with 20 year old guys. No judgement, seems like older guys are more mature, (compare to a high school boy). BUT you should go for it, age difference should not matter!
GO FOR IT! :) my boyfriend is 21 & I'm 17. he was 20 & I was 16 when we started dating. if it doesn't work out, then it doesn't work out. age is just a number. :)
glad it worked out for you two (:
thankss :) I've never been so happy. I hope everything works out with you & your guyy! :)

I wouldn't do it. Not just because it's illegal but because if the age limit exceeds 2 years, I consider the person off-limits.
If someone was further than 2 years away and I really cared about them, I would make an exception. I use this as a general rule to ensure that the person is close to my age so we have a many similarities as possible. Example: I wouldn't date a 40-year old because they grew up in the 70-80's.
I wouldn't do it. The two of you are in different galaxies in terms of maturity. If you were 21 and he were 18, I would say go for it, but this guy has barely entered puberty.
No, this is a baaaaad idea. As soon as one of your parents finds out, they'll accuse him of raping you and its off to the slammer.
go for it.
